Recently, a few of you have started contact me, the webmaster, about getting information about Ray and his health.

I DON'T HAVE THIS INFORMATION!
I also don't have any information about where he's going to play next or any other aspect of his life.

I'm not trying to be harsh, I just want you to know that you are overlooking one of the biggest resources you have in finding out anything about Ray and that's EACH OTHER. Some of you may at one time or another may know more than our wonderful fan club president, Sandra. And you can reach her by email.

Now, if you have some news about Ray(that you know to be true) either email Sandra or me and we'll post it. But only if you don't know how to post on this site. That much I can do. Or if you need a quick tutorial on how to use the blog site I can do that.

BTW, Sandra also mentioned to me in our last conversation that Ray and his family have requested that we DON'T post anything on this site about Ray's health. That is his personal life, and he'd appreciate if PEOPLE DON'T TALK ABOUT HIS HEALTH or SPREAD RUMORS.

I mean, stand in his shoes for a moment, imagine you turn on the TV and watch the news & the announcer tells you that you have some horrible illness, and you know your next gig is watching this. The next gig is gonna wonder if you're gonna show up for work next week. They might cancel your gig! Think about it!

From what I hear Ray is doing fine and has recently been on some radio program.

I get questions from time to time about posts and while they don't post automatically.
Well, it's because every once in a while, more frequently now, we get bogus posts or tracbacks trying to use our site to get link hits for their snake oil and enhancement products. We had it good for a while then some how they found us again. It's sad actually. So what that means is that every post has to go through my mail box before it's allowed online. And as the come more and more frequently I'm gonna have to wait until they build up. Just so I can go through them one by one and approve the good ones and kill the bad ones. I know a few got by me the other day and I had to pull them off.
I'm going to assume it's a bad post if all that is said is "i love this place", or some other non-descriptive phrase that could be sent in by an automated login.
So, if you want your posts or comments to get published you'll have to make some comment that applies to the post uniquely.
I haven't seen the robots use a given name seen in the posts yet but I won't put it past them.
So, if your post is an emergency and it's not getting up you'll have to go through me.

Sorry it has to be this way, but I won't have that kind of stuff live off my web site if I can help it.

Ray Price has stopped cancer in its tracks. The country legend is resting at his home in Texas, recuperating from surgery to remove polyps from his colon. Price had the surgery last week, after a colonoscopy revealed numerous polyps in the pre-cancerous stage. The surgery was said to be successful, and the 83-year-old entertainer expects to resume his touring schedule in a few weeks.

In case you didn't there are two ways to participate on this blog.

The first way is to write comments. Once you write a comment and it gets published, and most of them do get published, then you have the privilege to write a blog entry.
To try it out, next time you log in, look up at the top of the browser window and see the menu that starts out on the left with the word b2revolution.
The next item to the right is the word "Dashboard." If you click this you will be
taken to the "back room" of the blog where you can initiate a blog item.

The best content for a Blog item is your experience or story regarding Ray.
Then other people can leave "Comments" about your story.

It's like this. If you just got back from a great concert and you want to tell everybody about it, and you've joined and commented on the board at least once already, then Go to the Dashboard and create a Blog entry. Then everyone
can right comments about it.

I will create a video tutorial about it as soon as I get the time, for those who need a little help use the buttons and screens of the interface.
